AI & Automation Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an AI & Automation Engineer to build production-ready workflows, AI agents, and integration systems for clients worldwide. You will work directly with clients to understand their business processes, design automation solutions, and deploy systems that run reliably in production.

This role involves building across multiple platforms and technologies daily. You should be comfortable working with APIs, debugging webhook payloads, writing code nodes, and shipping complete automation systems end-to-end.

What You Will Build

• Multi-step automation workflows in n8n and Make.com (webhook triggers, API integrations, conditional routing, error handling)
• AI-powered agents using Claude, OpenAI, and RAG pipelines for customer support, lead qualification, and content generation
• Voice AI agents for appointment booking and inbound call handling using Vapi, Retell AI, or Synthflow
• CRM automations in GoHighLevel and HubSpot (lead routing, pipeline management, email sequences)
• Data pipelines connecting Google Workspace, Airtable, databases, and third-party APIs
• Client documentation including Loom walkthroughs, system architecture diagrams, and handoff materials

Requirements

• 6+ months of hands-on experience with n8n, Make.com, or Zapier
• Comfortable writing JavaScript or Python for code nodes and API integrations
• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to test and debug workflows independently
• Clear written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

• Experience with Claude Code or AI coding assistants
• Familiarity with GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or Salesforce
• Experience building AI agents (RAG, function calling, tool use)
• Voice AI platform experience (Vapi, Retell AI, Synthflow)
• GitHub workflow and version control experience
